How we get your frozen treats safely to your doorstep 🍦

📅 Shipping Schedule

To ensure your artisanal ice cream arrives in perfect, frozen condition, we dispatch orders only twice a week: on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We use DPD Next-Day Delivery, meaning your treats spend the minimum possible time in transit:

  • Orders shipped Tuesday: Arrive on Wednesday
  • Orders shipped Thursday: Arrive on Friday

This carefully planned schedule prevents parcels from sitting in courier warehouses over the weekend.

❄️ Dry Ice & Insulated Packaging

We take frozen shipping seriously! To keep your ice cream frozen solid from our kitchen to your freezer, we use professional cold-chain materials:

  • High-Density Styrofoam Box: A thick, insulated container that blocks outside heat.
  • Dry Ice (-78.5°C): We pack each box with solid carbon dioxide. It acts as an active deep-freeze environment during transit, keeping the ice cream rock-solid.

💸 Shipping Rates (DPD Next-Day)

We partner with DPD via Parcel2Go SmartSend to offer you the most reliable shipping at the lowest possible rates. Our shipping fees are calculated by weight:

Small Order (Up to 5kg — approx. 2-4 tubs) £5.19 excl. VAT (£6.23 incl. VAT)
Medium/Large Order (5kg – 10kg — party packs) £6.62 excl. VAT (£7.94 incl. VAT)

*Prices are calculated directly through Parcel2Go SmartSend business rates to pass the savings onto you.

⚠️ Important Delivery Checklist

Because ice cream is a perishable product, please make sure you follow these simple guidelines:

  • Track Your Parcel: You will receive a 1-hour delivery window from DPD on the morning of delivery.
  • Be Ready to Receive: Someone must be available to accept the delivery on the first attempt to prevent melting.
  • Nominate a Safe Place: If you might be out, please use the DPD app to designate a shaded “Safe Place” or a trusted neighbour.
